Personal Statement
I once heard a speech that talked about how happiness an emotional response to an event and once achieved, you are always looking for something to provide that feeling but joy is not an emotional response, it's an internal well being, a sense of pride and peace you get from doing what you are meant to do not from what you achieve. That really hit home with me and kind of defines who I am.
I am looking for a program that values team culture. I want to be part of a community not just a player on a team.
I am a very dedicated student who strives to give more than expected in the classroom. I am a very loyal friend, who puts others needs in front of my own, probably more than I should.
I am a driven, hard working person; who will work hard every day to make my personal contribution to the team the best I can make it. I also expect my teammates to do the same. Challenge and hard work are how a strong team bond is made. I am working every day to be a part of that idea and that dream.
