Katie Gable '20 Recruiting Profile

Winning the MEQ Qualifier when I was thirteen was the highlight of my club career.  However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my 15's year of club volleyball when my team didn't reach our goal to go to the Girls Junior National Championships.  That experience helped me grow as an athlete and person and lead me to re-gain my focus on becoming a dependable and trustworthy team-mate worthy of playing at the college level.

I was fortunate enough to be apart of an outstanding program, getting some of the best feedback and coaching in the whole North Texas Region.  My coaches during my 15's year of club volleyball helped me realize the value of teamwork, leadership, devotion, and character throughout the year as a new club.  I have continued my growth during the start of the 16's club season through a relatively new club at Dallas Arsenal Volleyball Club and what I feel is a very strong team that I was fortunate to become a part of last year.   I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically.  I believe that I not only have the determination to compete at a college level, but the mindset, work-ethic, and the leadership to make an immediate and positive impact on your program.  As a six year club player, I know that I have what it takes to be a role model and leader on your team!
