Hi my name is Cearria Traylor, I am a 5'6 16 year old junior at Sunnyvale High School. This is my 4th year of school volleyball and my 2nd year of club volleyball. I am a Middle Hitter/Blocker for both my school and club team. I am on Varsity for my school team and I play at Texas Assault Volleyball Club on the 18 Smack Black team . I started playing volleyball my 8th grade year. Nothing really inspired me to do volleyball. I never knew what volleyball was until I decided to tryout and I made the 8th B team. I have come a very long way since then. The following year after I started I played on the freshman team. Then when my sophomore year came, I made varsity and I've been playing varsity ever since.
Before I knew what volleyball was I was a dancer and a gymnast. I also did theater and modeling. Playing this sport has taught me many things about myself that I didn't know. Becoming part of the volleyball program showed me how to be a team player and it also allowed me to gain sisters for life. I really want to graduate high school and go to college because multiple people in my family didn't have that chance, like my mom. My mom is my role model and my biggest supporter. I want to make my dreams come true because she never got the chance. She lives her life through her kids and I want nothing but to make her proud.
