Hailey Strickland '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball ever since I could remember, I fell in love with the sport when i took my first step on the court. After my first ever season playing volleyball I knew that my dream would be to be able to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I know that playing at such a high level is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it would change everything in my life. 

I have a strong will to play on the court and I am willing to hustle in practice and during a game. I am very flexible and willing to put my all into whatever position the coach thinks is best for the team. I am a team leader and try to pick my teammates up whenever they are down, and I try to lead by holding teammates accountable and listening to advice given by teammates and coaches. I am working very hard to be the most hard-working player and recruit you will find. 

I continuously work hard all year round on my volleyball skills, playing in select volleyball, I also played all through Little League and am still playing in high school. During the summer I participate in Summer Conditioning, where we condition and lift weights in the morning and go to our sports after that. Conditioning, weight lifting, and playing volleyball year round all contribute to my athleticism and continuously keeps me in shape. 

In school I work hard to maintain my 4.813 GPA and am still working to raise it everyday. In the past I was in National Junior Honor Society and I am currently participating in two UIL events, History and Calculator Applications. I am also volunteering at my church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, on a board committee to make decisions for my church. 

I want to go to a college where I am pushed everyday by both my teammates and coaches, and in the classroom. I am open to all options for college, I want to find the right match for me at the highest competition level. I am hoping to become a really good role model for people my age and younger, and to make my parents proud.
