Hello, my name is Cherish Okpara. My passion for playing volleyball started when I watched my sister as she was playing volleyball, and I went to every one of her practices and her games. By then I was a soccer player, but my passion for volleyball was greater than my passion for soccer. At the age of 12, I did prep Volleyball and PSA. At the age of 13, I joined club volleyball and ever since then I have been playing at club level as well as varsity level at my school. Playing volleyball has taught me lifelong lessons which including teamwork, self-confidence, trust, how to associate with people, and how to be a leader. Having said that, I would like to continue playing volleyball at a college-level as well as further my career.
