Jenna Thorkelson '22 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has always been a huge part of my life since I was young.  I don't want my athletic career to end after high school and I am excited to do what it takes to play at the collegiate level.  I am a talented setter, but I am constantly working to improve my defense, serving, and blocking as well.  I believe I am a strong leader on the court no matter what team I'm playing with and I have a sincere desire to win.  I am always positive and uplifting and work hard to have a perpetual smile on my face when I'm playing.  

Off the court, I am very academically driven and strive to maintain a 4.0 GPA.  This year I am taking AP and Concurrent Enrollment courses.   I enjoy learning and I hope to challenge myself at the next level.  I am involved with the special needs program at my school and I serve within my church as often as possible.  Outside of school I hold a job taking care of elderly individuals assisting them with their needs.  I am excited to pursue all avenues and see where this journey takes me.
