Personal Statement
Hello my name is Lilian Vargo and I have a passion to play volleyball in college. I have learned that hard work, character, and perseverance can take you a long way. I firmly believe the goals I have set for myself and the commitment towards reaching those goals have helped me elevate my game and make me the person I am today. I have worked hard as a student athlete and can't wait to continue to grow through this process, of looking for the right college!
Currently I play Libero/DS/Setter. My love is defense and I am very defensive minded! Some of my accomplishments:
2014(U15)Capital Classic (Washington DC) Best Setter(Eighth Grade)
2015: Second Team All State(VA), Max Prep #3 Setter(Ninth Grade)
2016: First Team All State(VA), All-Met Second Team (Washington Post), Max Prep #3 Setter/ #7 Defense, Flint Hill Tournament: All Tournament Team (Tenth Grade),
2017: First Team All State(VA), Attended Girls Junior Nationals in Minneapolis, MN. North Cross School Volleyball Invitational: All Tournament Team (Eleventh Grade)
2018: Player of the Year Award VISAA. 21-4 record-Approaching career totals of 1000 digs and 3000 assists-all time VA state assist leader.
