My name is Amber Tompkins. I am 17 years old and a middle hitter and blocker junior for Lyle high school in Lyle, Washington. Playing college volleyball is a goal I wish to achieve. I'm a great team member Because I step up and take place for when it is needed the most either in a game or at practice. My first Year playing as a freshman on a team full of seniors was a challenge for sure, but the hard work paid off and I became a starting varsity player that eventually contributed to taking our team to state championships, but unfortunately did not place. Although my sophomore and junior season were not as successful, I won all-opponent for our district twice. Now I play club volleyball at Gorge Juniors Volleyball club in a small town named White Salmon. So far My team and I have placed 1st in two tournaments and 3rd in another. I look forward to the opportunities that are yet to come.
