My dream is to play volleyball in college, while attending a great school that fit my academic needs. Volleyball became part of my life when I was in 4th grade. Once I started play the sport, I knew it was for me. Over the years of playing volleyball I have developed many skills and friendships. Playing volleyball has allowed me to be able to lead, communicate, and work together. The position that I play is setter, and I’ve been that position for every team I’ve played for. The thing I love most about setting is being able to make the right decision, quickly to who I should set the ball to. Setting has many challenges that I enjoy. I hustle after every to make the play the best it can be. I’m a dedicated team player that encourages others to never give up and have positive thoughts. In practices and games I give it 100%, so I can improve as much as I can.
My height is 5’5, approach jump is 8’6, and reach is 82.5. For my high school varsity team, I got number 1 in the state for assists, special honorable mention team, first team all EPAC, the WVSSAC 2020 “AAA” state volleyball tournament team, and for travel volleyball the watch list for Liberty Elite 17u National Volleyball Club just as a sophomore. I’m determined to excel as a player and person. I am strong academically, taking all honors and some AP classes with a GPA of 4.57.
I would like to go to a big school with great academics. I’m open to any schools. I’m a team player that enjoys new challenges and experiences. I push the team to succeed and give it their all. The best part of playing volleyball is working together as a team. I am looking to forward to finding the right school to succeed at both athletically and academically.
