My name is Shalynn Ross and am currently a freshman in high school. This is my first year in volleyball, and I can honestly say I love it. Out of all the sports that I'm in year after year, softball, cheer, gymnastics, and basketball, I wish I would have started volleyball sooner. It's the sport I'm great at. I'm on freshman team, but from all I've accomplished this season, I'm hoping on going straight to varsity next year. I've been told my spikes and drives are great, and when I need something to work on, and get better; I work my butt off until I can do it or fix it. I'm hoping to get scouted by college for volleyball by the time I graduate. I want to go to a 4 year college, and get my degree in law to go on and be a lawyer; or a higher statement. My goals through out my next 4 years of high school hopefully will get me to my career in the future, including sports. I'd love to be a part of a volleyball team in my college years. I know I'm only a freshman but I like to be a couple steps a head so I know exactly what I'm doing, and get more oppurtunities for my future.
