My family is central to who I am. I am a very hard worker, dedicated in my academics, through my religious education, and responsibilities at home. I have not decided for sure what I want to study in college. I am interested in exploring my options regarding the opportunity to play sports in college. I have older siblings who have played at the college level and know the hard work and dedication it requires. I believe I can be successful at the college level. In summary, I have participated in multiple club and varsity level VB tourney's and championships, blessed to play in our WI state semi-finals last year, I am a multiple letter winner, and still working hard to get better.
This year I was proud to represent my team as a captain, floor captain, and fulfilling some new roles in a new rotation and playing all-around. Also involved in a school play and actively in our church.
2019 Team Captain, floor captain, Voted All-conference 1st team, All-state Honorable mention . WVCA all academic team. At 30-6, our team was regional champions, conference and sectional "runner-ups". Summary includes being 3 year letter winner. #1 Team Passer Rating 2.2, #1 Playable passes at 97.8% (school record), #2 in kills at 300 for the season, #2 in hitting efficiency at .283, #2 in kill percentage at 39.1%, #4 hitting accuracy at 89.2%, #2 serving accuracy at 96.4% with 388 attempts, #3 in digs at 361, #2 in blocks at 58. Voted hardest worker, and tops in communication, and encouraging/unifying.
2019 was a successful year, I was blessed to play more "all-around" this year and gained valuable back row skills this year. Our rotation allowed outside and middle hitting /blocking roles. We ended our season 30-6. (61-12 the last 2 years and 85-23 if you include my sophomore year when I began working my way onto varsity. I ended my career with 730 kills, 147 blocks, 513 digs, serving over 96%.
In 2018 I was awarded All-conference first team and All-state honorable mention. Voted "most-fearless", "most-positive", "most-encouraging", and "hardest worker" by teammates. I was an important part of our well-rounded volleyball team that made it to the Division 3 semi-final. My development shows in my consistency and improvement in my stats and in my increasing roles each year on my team. Our record and success in the playoffs is a testimony to the improvement and the balance on our team.
