I have been playing volleyball since I was ten years old. I have always enjoyed playing the sport, but within the past few years I have really become passionate about it. Volleyball is one of the most important things in my life and having the opportunity to play in college would be very special to me.
I am very aggressive for the ball and communicate loudly on the court to my teammates. I have good timing as a blocker and a strong swing. I try to keep everyone positive by encouraging each teammate after missed points. After each scored point, I congratulate them with high energy and excitement. I am very coachable and always work extremely hard to improve.
I am doing very well in school and continue to challenge myself with many AP and honors classes. My goal is to maintain my high GPA throughout the rest of my schooling. I am a member of National Honor Society and a part of our school's Link Crew. I am very organized and accountable for all of my assignments. Also, I spend a lot of time in the community helping out at camps for my church and school.
I have really good people skills and enjoy interacting with any age group. I have a good work ethic and have had a job since the summer after my freshmen year. Even with my busy schedule, I manage my time very well.
I would love to attend a college where I am able to achieve my goals in volleyball and education. I am willing to push myself to attain these goals. Thank you for your consideration.
