Kaitlin Christoun '16 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball in the 5th grade and have been playing competitively with WI Jr's since the 6th grade.  I love the game of volleyball, whether that's rooting from the sidelines or actively playing on the court, although, I do like playing better.  Some of my teammates might call me the joker on the team.  However, when it comes down to game time it's all business. 

My strongest attributes on the court are my ability to read the court, being in position to field the ball, and putting it in the hands of our hitters.  My serves not to shabby either.  I can put it anywhere on the court and prefer my floater.  I'm a 94% server and average 1.1 aces per set.

I also strongly believe in helping others and trying to give back to the community.  I volunteer numerous hours at our local pet shelter and at our local food pantry. 

I'm looking for a college that believes in the education of the student athlete, namely me, while providing the student with an option of academic and personal opportunities.
