Ruthie Stewart '17 Recruiting Profile

Being an athlete is something I’ve always known. Since before I could remember, I have always been active or playing a sport. Being a dedicated athlete has formed me into the the person I  am today. Over the years I’ve become very attached to my sports (Basketball, Volleyball, and Track). Especially volleyball, I just simply fell in love with the game.
I work hard every day to get better and achieve more to help my team. This includes working hard on and off the court and of course in the class room. My education is my biggest priority above all my sports. Sports are great and I love to play, I also want to have a good education so further down the road I will receive a good occupation.
I think having an opportunity to play volleyball in college would be a dream. I feel that my leadership and positive attitude would only continue to grow if I was able to have such an opportunity. Getting a great education plus playing the sport of my dreams at such a competitive level sounds like a win win to me!
