I am good candidate to play at the collegiate level because my level of dedication to the sport that I love. I have played all four years of high school and continued my training to better myself by playing club volleyball in the winter season and sand volleyball during the summer months. I have also partaken in many smaller tournaments throughout the year to keep myself at peek playing levels. My goal is to play the full four years at the collegiate level and make an immense positive influence on the team.
My character shows in the way I play. I want to be the best I can be at all times, but I also want to help better the team. Because a team is only as good as its weakest member. Yet if your a true team, you'll make sure that no one player is left behind to be the weakest link. You play for yourself as much as you play for the other girls. I also count my character as a leader not only on the court but also in my community. I am a blood donor, and hope to become a gallon grad this year. The volleyball team donates our time during the summer months by bailing hay for our local Fire on Ice Competitions. Also working at Premier Community Bank as a teller for two years has taught me dedication, poise, and confidence in my abilities. All my customers have given me positive reviews and find my character to be kind and caring.
Academically I find myself to be very strong. I have a 3.56 at this time and have maintained this GPA during my high school career. I am currently taking AP classes to help prepare myself for college course work. These classes include English and History. Also taking KSCADE classes over the computer during the school years has helped me to prepare for the online classes that colleges may offer. I took the ACT this past Spring of 2014. I earned a 26 and feel very confident with my score and that it can and will get me into a college that will fit my wants and needs.
Thank You
