Personal Statement

Hello, I am Kendal Allaire. I am a 2025 middle/opposite hitter and setter. I have played volleyball since 3rd grade when I began to develop a passion for the sport. My dream is to play collegiate level volleyball in the future with a great group of girls that love the sport just as much as I do. I am a hard worker and will always push myself to do my best. I constantly try to bring as much energy to the team as I can in practices and during games. I am a very flexible athlete and have played almost every position. I have been working in fitness and weight lifting for the past few years because I want to get stronger and quicker. I cannot wait to continue developing athletically. I am a 4.0 student and have never gotten anything less than an A in my life. I take as many advanced, honors, and AP classes as I can. School is very important to me because I know that it is how I will go places in the future. I can't wait to see where my athletic and scholastic dreams take me!

Skillset Overview Technical Abilities - 92 / 100 Offense - Has a knack for finding the court on the attack, sees the open court, and has the ability to make solid contact. Defense - Aggressive as a defender. Good read on the attack and defensive positioning, and seems to enjoy making the play. Tactical Abilities - 92 / 100 Vision - Court vision is very good. Constantly checking spacing and court positioning to put herself in a great position to make the play. Speed Of Thought - Has good ideas and tries to play fast. This will only help future growth. Physical Abilities - 92 / 100 Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two. This will be an asset in all aspects of the game Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and showed power in attacks/serves/setting/defensive positions. Mental Abilities - 92 / 100 Resistance To Stress - Maintains composure in pressure situations. Great job staying focused on the task at hand. Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Coach's Comments Kendal did extremely well in the 6v6 scrimmage play. She transitions really well and was able to get some really big swings thanks to great footwork and her athletic ability. Her movement pin to pin was solid and enabled her to get her body to the ball with her outstanding reach. Kendal is a smart player. I gave her a small correction with her swing, and she made the quick adjustment and saw some success immediately. She is very coachable, has a great attitude, works really hard and would be an asset to any program.

I've been lifting all year round since freshman year (2021). I have gotten significantly stronger, shown through maxes and the strength of my play in all sports. I also work on plyometrics and my agility through programs in my school and personal trainers.
