Personal Statement
My name is Jessie Jerome and I am a student-athlete at Rawlins High School in Rawlins, Wyoming. I believe that to be a good athlete you must have integrity, grit, fortitude, and determination. To be a good student-athlete, you must contribute to a team in more ways than having talent, you must keep your academic standards high, have a good sense of sportsmanship on and off the court, challenge your teammates both on the court and in the classroom, be dependable and responsible, give effort, and be a team player. I believe I am an athlete that can contribute to a team in more ways than my athletic ability. I am determined to keep my grades in good shape and to bring my best mental game to any team I play on. Volleyball is a sport I have always been passionate about and I want it to pursue my dreams of seeing how far it will take me. I am a disciplined athlete and I hold myself and teammates accountable. I set high goals for myself and I will work hard to achieve them. Looking forward to my journey!
