In college I hope to make the best of the short time there. I would love the opportunity to play water polo and get a degree in mathematics/ business. I believe that I am a good candidate for the team because I am a team player both in the water and out of it, as well as I never back away from a challenge. I am different from other recruits in the sense that I earned my International Baccalaureate Middle Years certificate and I am trilingual. In athletics I started my freshman year in high school and quickly learned that being part of a team can be challenging but worth the hard work and dedication. As a freshman playing on the varsity team helped me realize that I had to work hard for what I wanted. The diversity at Mira Loma introduced me to many new cultures and have more of an appreciation for differences. The intense academic competitiveness allowed me to be the best I could be.
