Hi! My name is Julia Ernsting and I am graduating in the year of 2025 and have been playing water polo for about 7 years or since 2016. I play for West Valley Water Polo and Los Gatos High School. I aspire to play collegiate water polo while achieving academic success.
At Los Gatos I was on varsity since freshman year. Now as a sophomore I was a starter and awarded as a first-team all-league player. In my sophomore year I lead all field players in assists and steals and was second in ejections drawn. I helped the team to repeat as De Anza division champions. When playing I pride myself on being a utility player that can do anything needed. In addition to water polo, I enjoy sports medicine and get over 100 hours of community service every year. Also in the academic field I will be presenting my research at an international GI confernce in South Korea in October of 2023 (APPSPGHAN). I also help coach and ref with my club.
