Prior to water polo, I had deemed myself as 'unathletic' and 'untalented'. Waterpolo helped me to discover that not only was this untrue but quite the opposite. I've been playing as a varsity starter since my freshman year, and my love for the sport rivals all other passions in my life. My work ethic and enthusiasm to learn and grow as a goalkeeper separates me from other goalies. My height and wingspan also separates me from others, and I want to master the use of my natural advantages. I thrive within team settings and I have a natural leadership quality that helps me to guide field players and make defense an easier job: as the main defending position.
