The main goals and aspirations I have cemented for college are to make the most of my experiences as well as to set myself on a path which will allow me to join a profession that I can both excel at and enjoy. I feel that I would be a good candidate due to my ability to quickly adjust to new environments, such as a new team. I have also had multiple experiences with being the "new kid" so I am able to meld well with different groups of people, even if they have played together before and I do not know anybody. While I share a profound love for water polo with many of my fellow athletes, I also prioritize my personal relationships with my teammates above much else. In my experience, my teammates have become my family; they are people I would defend ruthlessly, and I think this sets me aside from many players I have met. Everybody feels protective or fondness for their team members to some degree, however, I have realized that my desire to excel at this sport does not stem from the game alone; it is the people I meet through Water Polo which truly push me to improve.
