Sydney Adler '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Sydney! My love for this sport has grown since I started playing at age 10. Through my club’s intense focus on fundamentals, especially in its youngest players in terms of body position and throwing motion, I have developed a strong shot, accurate passing, and ability to play a horizontal defensive game. I am a student of the game and enjoy watching video, and I seek to understand my mistakes in every game to see how I can improve. My coaches have said that I have a strong game sense, anticipate and react quickly. I look to play team ball, but I recognize my opportunities when necessary. After college, I plan to coach water polo as well as play masters whenever possible.

I am a student-athlete who can balance high level academics and year-round water polo. I will represent my college or university well athletically and academically. I appreciate the friendships, problem solving, and resilience I have gained from playing water polo. Thank you for considering me for your program.
