Grace Toland '26 Recruiting Profile

I am hoping to play Division One water polo in college, along with getting a 4-year degree. I currently play the wing but would feel comfortable and confident anywhere in the pool. I am a starting varsity player for my high school team at Springfield Township, Montgomery County. I was also the top shooter on my team in my sophomore year and hope to keep that position until I graduate. I love this sport and hope to continue playing, learning, and getting better throughout my college career. I am excited to learn new skills and plays to help me be a better player. I feel I am a great teammate because I always want to help the new, younger players get better. I am also hoping to be the captain of my team in my senior year. Along with this, I coach my pool's swim team in the summer at Oreland Swim Club, for all ages. I also coach water polo in the spring, ages 8-14, for our club team, Springfield Aquatic Club. I have kept straight A's all year since freshman year and work my hardest to maintain them and my high GPA. I am looking forward to the AP classes I can take junior and senior years to challenge myself academically.
