Ashley Water Polo...Personal Statement
I hope to compete in water polo at a Collegiate level. I am a natural team leader. Girls on my team look to me for direction on both the field and in everyday life. I like to be an encouragement to others and myself, pushing to be great all-around athletes. I believe that no individual player is more important than the team, and that by working together we are stronger and ultimately more successful, not just in the pool but in life as well. My teams participate in the positive coaching alliance and through that I subscribe to the philosophy that being a good team member is about Effort, Learning from Mistakes, and Mastery (ELM). I aspire to work with children, possibly in the field of education or psychology.
