My name is Saphia Davis. I am very passionate about my athleticism and always looking for ways to improve. For that reason I have developed an extreme interest in functional fitness and strength training. I would like to turn my passion into a lifelong learning opportunity in my academic career at whichever university I choose to attend. I hope to continue my wrestling career in college, as well.
I feel like I am a good candidate for any collegiate level team because I am constantly learning and growing as an athlete. I am always striving toward becoming the best version of myself that I can be, in all aspects of my life. I am a proven mentor, on and off the mats. I help younger more inexperienced wrestlers learn the sport. I thrive in my teammates succeeding.
I do not characterize myself. I choose to let my actions speak for themselves. I simply take care to do right by my family, friends, teammates, coaches and other people that I care about. If that does not make me different enough for college recruitment, then I will hold my head high knowing that there is a different plan established for me that I will carry out. Wither way I will always make every effort to work hard, be kind, be humble, make friends and leave every situation in a better state than when I came into.
