Hello,
My name is Ja'Khia Matthews I have not been wrestling long, only for this season which is my senior year. I was going to go to state sectionals this year in Arizona but I ended up moving to Virginia last minute. I had the opportunity to compete in order to go to state this year but that was taken away from me. It made me realize that I really wanted to keep wrestling. I enjoy wrestling so much and right now I am in a club doing freestyle wrestling. I was told that even though I started wrestling later then most people and that I have average grades, I still am young and maybe be able to have a chance at continuing to wrestle even in collage. As of right now my plans for after high school are going to a community collage then transferring to a University. My goal would be to make it somewhere in wrestling no matter what it is I just want to compete, have fun, and win. Academically I am pretty average in terms of everything my strengths would be maybe writing and something that is not so strong is my math skills. Physically I am pretty strong when it comes to lifting. I am also strong mentally, I am not hard headed nor am I a person you can not corporate with. I can work well with everyone no matter who they are. I signed up for this because even though I started wrestling in my senior year I hope there is still a chance in being able to continue it. I appreciate you for reading this and I hope I can hear back from someone.
