Personal Statement

During my time in college, I would like to focus on two of my lifelong goals. The first goal I have set for myself is to get a degree in Criminal Justice so I can pursue my dream of becoming a police officer. I have always wanted to make a difference in my community and I could think of no better way than protecting and serving! My second goal is to be a starter on a college wrestling team! I have wrestled since I was in the 6th grade and it is my passion. I am extremely competitive and I would like to continue wrestling in college to fulfill this competitive drive! I feel that I can contribute both academically and athletically to any college wrestling team! I carry a 3.2 GPA with several AP classes and have been the captain and MVP of my high school wrestling team for the past 3 years. This has given me the opportunity to learn how to be a leader and I take great pride in assisting others in attaining their individual goals as well!
