Hello! My name is Kylie Grundman, I am 17 years old, and I attend Edison High School in Huntington Beach California (class of 2025). I have played volleyball for 8 years and fell in love with this sport ever since I made my first serve over the net. When I was 10, making that first serve was a huge deal and I knew I wanted to continue to train get stronger and better. I love seeing that excitement in young players too as I have been an assistant coach for the girl's volleyball team at the middle school I attended, Isaac Sowers Middle School, for the past 2 years. I love coaching and getting the girls eager to learn more and more every day. Over the past seasons, I have played many positions making me a very versatile player. You name it, I’ll play it. I am willing to play in any position that would benefit my team. I have focused on back row for the past couple of years and I am now the starting libero for my club and high school teams. I also love the team aspect of volleyball. I like how in order to succeed, you need to work together because I love meeting and working with new people while forming bonds with my teammates so we can connect on and off the court. I have always played with older players as I play up an age group in club and I was the only sophomore on varsity last year. I love the adrenaline rush during the game and I also love bringing tons of energy to the court. I am extremely excited to continue my academic and athletic journey and find a college that is perfect for me!
