John Maduena '24 Recruiting Profile

My son is a well rounded man. He puts his all in everything he does. Family, school, sports and anything he puts his mind to. He has the best sportsmanship I have ever seen. Never once has he been a bad sport in winning or defeat. One of my proudest moments in his wrestling career was not of a match of his own but of the time he found out a friend of his made it to state! The joy and excitement he had upon finding out this news was priceless. You would have thought that he won the state championship. The care and love he has for others is quite amazing at the least. I strongly feel he will be a perfect fit no matter where he goes and will be remembered by fellow student athletes and staff alike. He brings a ray of light to every room. Ben has a great sense of humor which will brighten anyone’s day.  Ben’s grades are exceptional and although he’s not sure what his major will be yet I know whatever he puts his mind to will have a great outcome.
