Throughout my first year of high school I’ve overcome so many challenges, injuries, self-doubt injuries, being the main one. I have played three sports over my first year of high school Lacrosse,Wrestling and Football. When I discovered wrestling, I took it as an opportunity to explore new things and meet new people the more I got to know about wrestling a grew deeper in love with it my aspirations, for my future is to Wrestle and become an Olympic champion. I’m just starting my journey wrestling has taught me self discipline. It has also taught me to enjoy the atmosphere and everything in it where I’m from that’s all you can do I have been the underdog ever since I was little because of my height I have played through the most difficult circumstances. I have faced a lot of criticism. I use all the negativity in the gym. Yeah I’m a small guy but I’m just cracking to surface in my first year wrestling in high school. I have made the varsity team for 145. I have also wrestled varsity 152. And varsity 138 I move down to Jv for two tournament due to my injury I made a full recover in both of those tournaments I have placed third place in my weight class I’m working day by day to become the best, I surely have a lot to prove my next two seasons. I’m going to continue to strive for greatness. I have the best support system in my grandparents, my parents and my coaches. I’m just grateful to have this opportunity to Wrestle that’s all I want to do is go out and work. The job is not finished until I see myself on the podium.
