Joe Clark MD High...Personal Statement
Wrestling takes heart and dedication, and I love to face the best. The harder the competition, the more we demand of each other, the better our mental and physical battles, and the more we both learn. Every match requires 100% both from myself and my opponent. At home, we push ourselves to maitain a champion mindset. My mom says that mindset starts as soon as I open my eyes, from my food choices, to cleaning my room, to the dedication that shows on the mat. I want to wrestle in college to learn from the best, both academically and athletically. I want to take that discipline and use it to pursue my goal of an Olympic gold medal. With the right coaches and teammates, I hope to eventually use all the lessons learned to become the best version of myself possible, both on and off the mat.
