Personal Statement

My name is Samuel Hurney I began wresting my 9th grade year or 2022 I quickly fell in love with the sport during my freshman year I wrestled JV and varsity, During my sophomore year I wrestled varsity and became a captain I qualified for the regional meet and hope to place at states my junior an senior year. During my High School career I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA and I am taking multiple AP and dual enrollment classes. After Highschool I plan to continue my academic career and pursue a degree in sports medicine and I hope to continue playing the sport that I love.
