My name is Paige Etnoyer and I am a hardworking student athlete. This past season was my first year running track because of an injury my freshman year, and covid my sophomore year. Throughout challenges during indoor season and covid restrictions not always allowing me to compete I still worked hard which led to me being a regional champion in the 4x800 and placing second in the 1600 and 800. I also went to states for these events and placed in the top 8 for all of them. During outdoor I competed in a variety of events including 1600 (5:47 PR), 800 (2:39 PR), 3200 (12:58 PR), 400 (1:09 PR), and 300H (00:59 PR). My hard work through the season showed at regionals by becoming a regional champion in the 1600, placing second in the 3200, and fourth in the 800. I went to states for the 3200 and placed 9th, and 1600 and placed 8th. Throughout the year I still maintained good grades in school and didn't use sports as an excuse. My goal for my senior year is to run a 5:10 1600 and a 2:25 800 while maintaining good grades as well. I hope to find a college to run track at that meets my preferences and is the best fit for me as a student athlete.
