Tanner Peake '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tanner Peake, I am a highly committed student-athlete with an uncompromising dedication to developing my skills on and off the mat.  I just completed my Junior season at 152 lbs.  I finished the year 13-4 and placed 6th at the NJ State Tournament, last year I lost in the Round of 12 as a Sophomore.  I have a career record of 83 – 22.  In 2021, NJ only had Super Regions and States, I placed 3rd at the Central Super Region and 6th in the State at 152lbs.  I am a 2X District Champion and placed my first 2 years in the Regions (6,3) and HWS Tri-County (5,3).  I was voted captain as a sophomore and I have maintained over a 4.0 weighted GPA in each of my first 3 years of High school.  I want to continue to wrestle at a college that takes wrestling and academics very seriously.  My goal is to leverage my work ethic to continue to improve every day, be a great teammate, and be an All American, while simultaneously striving toward academic excellence.
