Maximilian Sochilin '25 Recruiting Profile

        As a high school student athlete, I've embraced the challenges of leadership and competition as the captain of my wrestling team. My journey in wrestling began as a mere hobby, but it quickly evolved into a passion that drove me to surpass my own limitations. Despite setbacks, such as being unable to wrestle during my freshman year due to Covid, my dedication and relentless work ethic have led to remarkable achievements. I've been honored as the MVP of my school and earned the distinction of being the first 11th-grade captain. 

         I've achieved the rank as the top #3 wrestler in all of Brooklyn and have qualified for prestigious tournaments like the NYC MAYORS CUP,  Brooklyn Burroughs, City Championship and have earned first place at multiple tournaments. My dream is to attain an excellent education while pursuing my passion for wrestling. Additionally, I aim to provide for my family and be someone others can rely on during tough times.
