Hello, my name is Aaron Painter, and I am a junior attending West Johnston High School in North Carolina. I am a proud Eagle Scout and wrestling captain. I consider wrestling my "soul sport". I participate in extracurricular activities such as FFA, FBLA, FCA, and Boy Scouts. Wrestling has provided me the opportunity to be a leader and pushed me to fight for my position on a team. I became a wrestling team captain during my sophomore year of high school. I hope to be able to wrestle in college, and I am currently preparing myself to be at that level. One of my long-term goals for the future is to graduate from a four-year University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. I want to attend a four-year college to study because I believe that would best prepare me for a successful career. After college, some of my long-term goals are to find a job in environmental science and biology, take care of the Earth, hike the Appalachian Trail, and visit as many US national parks as possible. I am a natural-born leader and want to impact the world positively.
