Hello, My Name is Matthew Mims and I'm all about the grind. I have been wrestling for 3 years and in those 3 years, I have grown so much in the sport of wrestling. I love wrestling so much I have developed such a strong passion for the sport and that's why I want to continue to wrestle in my college years. I have run Cross-Country for my freshmen, sophomore, and junior year, and because of this I have a huge endurance advantage on the mat. I still run and condition regularly but I now focus on my strength and skill work. I work hard at everything I do and I never give up. Not only do I work extremely hard on the mat, but I am also diligent in the classroom. I know there will be some obstacles along the way but I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I am fully dedicated and I know I have what it takes to wrestle at the collegiate level. There are a few things I need to work on but once I have fixed my flaws I will be ready for anything thrown at me on the mat.
