Personal Statement
I have been wrestling since I was 4 1/2 years old. I wrestled 12 seasons of youth and won 5 youth Texas Championships and 1 youth Oklahoma Championship I have wrestled on Team Texas for Elementary and Middle School Duals in Council Bluffs, Iowa also. I have wrestled in many states too improve my skills and just trying to expose myself too different levels of wrestling. As a freshman at Franklin High School in El Paso,Texas, I was on the Varsity team at 182lbs. I finished my Freshman season with Virginia Beach Nationals where I went 3-2, and was 1 win away from being All American. I also played football, at Franklin as a defensive end. I have also played middle school basketball and club baseball.
In August of 2017, my family moved too Moore, Oklahoma. I wrestle the 195lb spot on the Varsity Team. I have been wrestling as many tournaments and duals as I can. I am very excited too see what I can accomplish in Oklahoma.
I work on making good grades and keeping my GPA up, its important as I would like to be the first person in my family to go too college and earn a degree. I recently took my Act and scored a 25. If I can earn a degree and wrestle for a school that has a balance of both, that would be a great opportunity for me. I am hoping to go too college and show my skill both on the mat and academically! I would like to pursue my education.
My senior year I hold a 3.5 GPA, and I am a 3x State Qualifier for Moore Highschool. I earned the MVP Wrestler and the Lion Heart award also while wrestling at Moore.
