Personal Statement
With my senior year almost over, it's time to focus on the off season. Time to get ready for the start of my college career. I believe this will require even more dedication and hard work! Now is not the time to take a break. I believe the work habits and choices I make now are even more critical for creating a routine in college. It's going to be a tough adjustment, but I am ready for the challenge!
I am excited to continue working with the young wrestlers and watch them grow. From encouraging them in the practice room to cheering them on mat-side, I enjoy every moment of it. My involvement with church and our youth group is one of the things that keeps me grounded. I believe that type of support system is important nowadays.
I believe even more, that I must maintain my focus and keep my eye on the end goal; to be a college student-athlete. I also believe that my success will depend on this focus. I believe that I will be an asset to a wrestling team, both morally and athletically.
