My name is Brodie Holcomb. I am currently attend Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama and a member of Class of 2022. I am currently enrolled in the Health Science's academy at my high school and am interested in that field of study, in particular, sports medicine, training, or physical therapy or Emergency services.
I feel that I have very good morals, manners and work ethics to help me be successful wherever I end up in college and in life. I have played baseball since I was 3 years old and am very passionate about my baseball career. I play baseball for Thompson High School in Alabaster, Al and I play travel baseball for the Top Gun Organization out of Oxford, Al. I feel that my strengths are my leadership qualities, my speed, my ability to get on base, and fielding ability. I am considered an all around athlete who throws right handed but I bat Left handed. However, I can bat right handed, I am more comfortable batting left handed. I have been successful at the plate hitting hard base hits on the ground, line drives, long balls in the air and bunting and beating it out with my speed. My ability to track balls in the outfield along with my speed have made me successful in any of the outfield positions. I am also a catcher with success throwing runners out due to my quickness. I am a backup catcher on my varsity team as the outfield is my primary position. I also am considered an asset to my team by being able to catch bullpen when needed.
