I became interested in baseball at the age of 3. My father introduced me to the game and from there my love for the sport Baseball has taught me how to fight through adversity and how to become a great leader. My academic goals for my high school career are to maintain my 3.8 gpa and for college my goal is to graduate top of my class and become the first person in my family to graduate from college. The death of grandfather was very hard for me. I believe that my love for the game and my family helped me get past that part in my life and ultimatelyI firmly believe that I put the team first in every situation that I can. So yes, I do believe I am a team player. I have fed the homeless with a small group from church. I have also done a number of things with the Etowah baseball team in the community such as reading to young children, cleaning the yards of elderly and feeding the homeless. It opened my eyes a lot and I look forward to doing it again. I’m vocal leader. With that, I push my teammates to become better as well. My work ethic is superior to the people around me. My goal in life is to be the best not in just my city or state but the best in the country. Academically I have been awarded that A/B honor roll every year. I was also inducted into the beta club my freshman year. During my early years I played basketball and baseball. But now, I am starting to realize that my love for baseball is greater than my love for basketball. I’m starting to focus more on my baseball career.
