Personal Statement
My name is Sergio Gonzalez Jr. born on August 18, 1999 in El Paso, TX. I am currently 5'7" and 170 LBS. I am a right side hitter and right handed thrower. My primary position is center field but can play all outfield positions, and my secondary position is second base.
In my own words plain and simple, I am a ball player I love the game of baseball. Since the age of five I have played the game. I respect the game and all the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many coaches throughout the years. I know without my coaches and support of my parents I wouldn't be the player that I am today, but there is always more to learn. When I am not playing baseball or not in school I enjoy working out and spending time with my family.
My parents are very positive people they have always supported me in baseball that's one of the reasons I love playing so much. When it comes to college I would like to major in criminal justice. If baseball doesn't work out I would like to get into law enforcement and work for the FBI, Homeland Security, or as a police officer.
In conclusion I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I'm a hard worker. I try to be a better student, baseball player and person every day. Coaches tell me that I am very coachable and always open to new ideas.
