Personal Statement
There is always a sense of rush it seems every time I step on to a diamond. It has always been like that for me when I play baseball. Ever since I could walk I was in the dugout as a bat boy for my high school team. What really has inspired me to play college ball is seeing kids go through a system and going off to play at the next level. Knowing that my high school career doesn't last forever I soak up every moment. I play mostly infield corner positions, and pitch quite often. I am pretty quick for how big I am. I'm always in the game and people never forget me. Chatter is always happening when I am on the field. You got to make sure everyone is communicating in order to run a sound system.
Academics mean a lot to me, I bust my tail off in the classroom so I can bust it off on the diamond. I do a ton of volunteer work in my community. I have really high standards on how athletes should look on and off the field. I am a pretty well rounded kid, good grades, athletic, but the one thing people always tell me... You got a big heart. You have to have heart to play this game.
