My name is Beau Buchanan and I am a 5'9'' 160 pound Junior middle infielder at Naperville Central High School. I have always dreamed to play college baseball for a Division I, II, or III school. I would also like to receive a quality education while at college as well. I believe I have what it takes to play past high school baseball and you will too after watching me play.I am a team leader who will lead by example both on and off the field. I will put in all the work necessary to compete at the highest level of competition possible. In college I want to get a degree in business/accounting or in history/social studies.

- My evaluation from the event: 12/07/2014 - Premium Video Program - McCook (Chicago), IL Beau is a solid, athletic 2B that will graduate in 2016. Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 7.25 60 time. At 2B, defensive grade are solid, displaying clean / smooth actions. Feet are quick / active as he works to square balls up, displaying clean hands and solid body control. He moves well laterally, flashing range in the MIF and shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turns of the double play. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he attacks balls more and presents hands more out front. Throws are accurate with carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly but will benefit by building more arm strength. At the plate he shows a squared / balanced setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a solid line drive approach as he works to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he increases bat speed. Power numbers will increase as he builds more overall body strength and uses his lower half more efficiently. With 2 years to further develop, Beau has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
