Taiga DeLoney '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zarick Taiga DeLoney, and I am a freshman at Chicago Hope Academy. I am an outfielder on the varsity team. Other than school, I play on the Chicago Knights 15 U and Cub RBI 15 U. I started playing Baseball in Japan. Since I moved to Chicago, I`ve been playing with top-ranked travel teams for 6 years.

In baseball, my strong point is in my speed. I have always been the lead hitter and have the most stolen bases on any team I have been on.

The last 60-yard dash was 6.84s at the Baseball Factory evaluation tryout. In the outfield, my speed also plays a huge role. I can cover a huge amount of space on the field.

Even though I am an athlete, academics come first. As of now, I have a 4.0 GSP and it will keep rising over time when I am allowed to take more challenging classes. My schedule has always been packed but I always can find time for everything I do.
