Charlie Schweiner '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Charlie Schweiner, I attend Marmion Academy in Aurora, IL. I have been playing baseball since I was six. Since I started playing, I always dreamt of playing at the collegiate level.

I have a great and powerful bat, solid and consistent defense, mental toughness, and a high baseball IQ. I am a team player and leader; I always try to lift teammates up and encourage them. I am very coachable, I listen and adjust to how my coaches tell me and if I am confused, I always like to ask. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the field.

I work hard year round on my baseball skills, participating in off-season workouts at Force Elite/ Knights Baseball Chicago and Marmion. Then the last few years playing spring, summer, and fall ball as well as High School basketball and lifting in the weight room which all contributes to my athleticism.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I try to take the best classes for me and classes that also challenge me as well. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately fin the right college match at the highest level of competition possible, I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, in my community and make my parents proud.
