Personal Statement
Baseball came into my life at a very young age. From playing t-ball to now playing my first year of collegiate baseball, I have always loved this sport. Growing up, I always watched and familiarized myself with baseball. My favorite player growing up was Derek Jeter, arguably the best leader this sport has ever seen.
From playing baseball, I have learned to always strive for the best and to never let anyone tell you that you can't do something. I have learned that this sport is not easy by any means, but if you put your heart and soul into the game, you will achieve success. My academic goals for my collegiate career are to increase my GPA every year and earn my bachelors degree. My athletic goals would include becoming an All-American player, winning a national championship, and playing professional ball. Working to get better everyday, bringing energy to every practice and game, and winning by any means necessary is what I believe I bring to the table as an athlete.
