I began my wrestling journey at the age of 10 with Team 312 (IKWF). Although I didn't want to wrestle because I didn't know anything about wrestling except for the WWE , I was over weight, and had zero confidence but still, my mom registered me. After attending my first tournament and taking 3rd place, everything changed and I was hooked. I had a lot of challenges throughout the first 2 years of wrestling because the other wrestlers were stronger and skillful, however, even with all the losses and downfalls, I never gave up and I became a 2x IKWF state qualifier. I have attended some amazing wrestling camps and have trained with awesome and talented wrestlers such as Joe Rau, Andrew Howe, Ben and Max Askren, Sebastian Rivera, Jimmy Kennedy, and so many more.
I continue to improve in all aspects of Folk style wrestling and can be a great asset to any college/university wrestling program, I am motivated, strong, and a team player because I will always help and motivate a fellow wrestler. Entering Freshman year, I started off as the junior varsity captain and quickly moved on to varsity level. Although I did not qualify for IHSA State, I am a 2x Fosh-Soph IWCOA qualifier. My goals during my junior year are to improve my grades and continue to improve my wrestling techniques and build both the strength of my body and my mind. I am determine to qualify for IHSA State and take a spot on the podium.
