Personal Statement
It takes a special kind of person to be a catcher. I love being the field general. I wear the black and blue marks and baseball stitch imprints left on my arms from blocking like a badge of honor. I am sad when runners don't try steal. I want to throw them out. Having great relationships with my pitchers and fielders and making those around me better is a source of pride. This is the attitude and effort I bring to the field, to the gym, and to the classroom. Giving my all and learning from the best is my goal for playing baseball at the college level. My skills and my grades improve every day. I look forward to the opportunity.
