Personal Statement
Sports are my passion. I have played football, hockey, basketball and baseball. As I've gotten older, my passion for baseball and football has increased and they have become my favorite sports. For baseball 1st base is my favorite position but I also play 3rd base and pitcher. I'm a very strong hitter and I have carried the highest batting average for my teams over the last two years. For football I have played tight end scoring many touchdowns, I have been told by my coaches that I am very coach able and a great teammate. I have been lucky to have had great relationships with all of them. In addition, I have learned how to be a leader as captain of various teams.
I have been on many winning teams. My 14U and 15U basketball teams were National Champions. My JV hockey team was the State Champion in 2014 and took 2nd in 2015. My 14U and 15U baseball teams were 2-time sectional qualifiers in the top 4. Although I have been on many winning teams, I have also learned how to deal with loss as my football team has had a rough few years. Although our record wasn't great, my dedication didn't change. I still went out every night and gave it my all.
Although I spend most of my time practicing and playing sports, I spend my free time with family and friends. I also serve food at our local shelter on the first Saturday of each month. I volunteer to help at my school's concession stands and help do yard work for the elderly and raise money for our school's booster club with my teammates.
I am very dedicated to be the best I can be in everything I do. My goal for the future is to earn a business degree and to continue playing baseball for a competitive college team. I am very close to my family and hope to make them proud in the decisions that I make.
